What you will need:

Paper mache block letters

World map

Mod podge

Foam brush/Paint brush

X-acto knife

Instructions:

Step 1: Place each block letter on the world map and use it as a stencil to cut each letter out on the paper.

Step 2: Repeat step 1 for all the letters you are using.

Step 3: Using a foam brush or a large paint brush, apply a generous amount of  mod podge all over each letter.

Step 4: Once the mod podge is dry, your map letters are all ready to display!

What you will need:

Ribbons in a variety of textures in your chosen color palette

Glitter card stock

Decorative butterfly clip (craft stores)

Instructions:

Step 1: Cut several pieces of ribbon 4-6 ft long, depending on the height of your chair.

Step 2: Personalize your chair by cutting out an initial using the glitter card stock!

Step 3:  Fold each piece of ribbon in half and tie a slip knot around the top of the chair.

Step 5: Repeat this step with all the ribbon, alternating colors!

Step 6: Using the butterfly clip, attach the glitter initial to once piece of ribbon on the chair.

Fine grade glitter

Baker’s twine

Glue

Instructions:

Step 1: Using the paintbrush, apply glue to the area of the hang tag where you want glitter. Make sure to leave some empty space to write a name or message!

Step 2: Pour ample amount of glitter onto the area with glue. Shake off the excess glitter.

Step 3: Attach the baker’s twine with a slip knot to the hang tag!

What you will need:

Wood slats (Michael’s, craft or hardware stores)

Acrylic paint

Paint brush

Instructions:

Step 1: Create your memory game by painting two identical objects on each pair of wood slats. Get creative with the objects you paint!

Step 2: When your finished with painting all your wood slats, shuffle them around and flip them all over. Start playing the game by flipping over two cards at a time.

Step 3: Test your memory by trying to flip two of the same wood slats over! The more cards you make, the more difficult the game will be.

Step 4: When you flip over a pair, take them out of the game and continue playing!

Kraft crinkle paper

Twine

Spray adhesive

Glitter

Twigs

Flowers/leaves

Instructions:

Step 1: Have your little ones gather a variety of different flowers, leaves and twigs!

Step 2: Place a few handfuls of crinkle paper in a pile and spray a generous amount of adhesive glue on top.

Step 4: Pour the glitter over the crinkle paper!

Step 5: Take a few twigs and spread them out like a tripod. Tie the top of the twigs together with twine.

Step 6: Place your twig house on top of the glitter crinkle paper.

Step 7: Decorate your little fairy house with the flowers and leaves you collected earlier!

Step 8: Place a flower at the top of the twig house to finish it off!

Step 9:  We used a piece of card stock and letter stamps to create a sign for the houses as well!

Sugar starfish

Wooden dowels

Instructions:

Step 1: Using the hot glue gun, apply a line of glue from the center down to the edge of the starfish.

Step 3: Apply a small dab of glue to the top of the wooden dowel and attach a couple pieces of ribbon to it.

Instructions:

Step 1: Use a round object (plate or bowl) to trace a circle onto the card stock paper. Each fan needs two card stock circles.

Step 5: Apply pressure and glue the two sides of the fan together.

Rubber bands

Scissors

Instructions:

Step 1: Cut each sponge into four strips.

Step 2: You can use different colors to make the sponges brighter or to differentiate teams when playing games!

Step 3: Bundle nine sponge strips together.

Step 4: Tie them in the center with a rubber band and spread out the sponges to form a ball shape.
