Anyone having a benefit auction coming up that they need donations for?
I'm a jewelry designer from the Memphis, TN area, and one of my friends is the director of the local Alzheimers Association. Her name is Lisa Bobal. Last month, they put on a benefit with auction items, and I donated a necklace that received several bids. They collected more than $95,000 in all!! Way to go, Lisa!!! The event was called "Stetsons and Stars", and the necklace I created and donated, was the leather, pearl, and horse pendant design that I've attached below. It's an AWESOME necklace!! (If I DO say so myself! ---and I DO! :) LOL!!)
Anyway....the winning bidder couldn't WAIT to get it around her neck!! I hope she's enjoying it!!

They didn't collect $95,000 for my necklace, alone!! LOL!!! That was for ALL of the items combined! :)
Didn't want there to be any confusion!!! LOL!!! I WISH my necklace had brought in $95,000!!! hahaha!!!! -

Haha thanks for the clear up! That would have been awesome to get $95k donated just from the necklace. How much did the necklace happen to go for though? I do a lot of work in donor advised funds.
