I wanted to start a group for all the expectant folks out there! This is not limited to you yourself being pregnant! I would love to include adoptive and surrogate moms and dads to be, too!
We've been talking about a 3rd child for a while; our kids are 3 & 5. I've had very irregular periods for about 6 months now, so we were actually scheduled for a consult to get me regular again so we could try to conceive. Imagine our surprise when a gut feeling told me to take a test ... it was positive. I had been taking naps, which is something I never do unless I am pregnant. Went to the doc the next day (I just happened to have my yearly planned for that day). He sent me for 48 hour HcG's since we caught it so early, and instead of the values doubling over 48 hours, they tripled! :) It's a good sign all is well! I am nervous because we leave for Disney World on Friday, and today, it seems all the symptoms hit at once; nausea, fatigue, irritability, and ever 10 minute potty breaks. Wish me luck! :)
