I’m looking for a new idea. The problem that I need a solution to is this: I unintentionally destroy books. I read in some strange and not so strange places. First you should know that my good friends refer to me as a tornado on roller skates. I will be the first to admit that this is true. I am many things but being the most graceful isn’t one of them. What happens way too often is, I spend many nights falling asleep with book in hand. Now I know I am not the only person that this happens to. I can and have destroyed books in my sleep. But even worse is I leave them outside. Now I know, you’re thinking I'm lazy. I think more in the line of old timer’s with a bit of ADHD lol. Honestly many times it is because I go out to sit and read in the field with my horses and end up playing or working with the horse and it just gets put to the side on a fence post and forgotten. My horses are very young and in training. When I work with them I must stay focused on them completely for safety reasons. Until just recently they were wild stallions. I’ve lost 2 books (one of them Dean Koontz I had just started argggg) in the last 2 weeks from leaving them on the fencepost in the rain lol. My family trades book boxes monthly and I try to rely on those to read since we live in the country. But I had just bought the Koontz book brand new hate ruining any book but a brand new one again arggg lol. So any ideas out there in book protection for events such as, but not limited to: during sleep, travel or outdoor adventures? Look forward to any crafty or not so crafty ideas from our readers.

May be go buy a insulated bag from the grocery store so if you leave it some where out it will be in that instead. Also this will help in all those situations and will be good to hold multiple books. I came to thie conclusion when it was raining and I had to get my daughters books for libary from the car to the school I carry these every where because we have a thing called Lunch on the lawn and I have to purchase lunch and keep it warm for 3 hours while i wait on every child to come and meet me at diferent times. :)
Let me know if this works Lisa !
Namaste my friend!
