I feel every picture tells a little story of it's own. Somebuildings jump out at me and I can create a story of my own to go with that building. At times I'm even compelled to pull over on the side of the road to take pictures. I hope you enjoy some of these pictures. The old barn is actually our old barn at home. I wish I had a new barn but, I do love old barns to look at lol.

The lodge picture was taken in Mineral California last winter. It was a beautiful waterfall of ice!
Awesome pics...love your barn but I know thew feeling about the new one...oh well someday, right? lol I love the old wood on the barns too...I bought an angel painted on an old piece like it..beautiful for things like that when you are done with it so don't forget to recycle it when you get the new one. ( ; ( they get great money for that wood)
I wish I could recycle it lol. Heck my 80 year old father was up on top last year replacing panels. You would think he'd have me do it but nope he's honery that way lol.

Simply BEAUTIFUL PICTURES Clarissa. I'm so wanting a new camera lol. Great balance and these were taken while moving? What part of the country are these from?
Hello Lisa, these pictures were taken in Illinois and parts of missouri. I was on a trip to take my youngst son to Louisiana. I was passanger in the car for the pics, so yes it was while in motion.

Here's an old barn for ya, complete with silo. Took it at a friend's home while in Vermont in 2008.

You got some beautiful pics, Clarissa!

You're certainly welcome. It is a beautiful area. I live in South Florida so it's a welcome change. The winter was way too cold to go to Vermont for me for too long, but it was a beautiful and wonderful experience. I do recommend the fall, however- milder temperatures and prettier colors, although driving at night in the snow and under the light of just the moon was amazing.
