Hello, it has been a while since I have been here. I am taking a class on American Literature right now, and although I feel overwhelmed at times, I am really enjoying it. I am thinking about taking a writing class next spring after I finish all of my required classes for my degree. 

 

What kind of writing does everyone like to do? I like to write poetry and I have been working on a story for a few years ago. I hesitate to call it a book or a novel as I don't know how long it will be and right now, it is only a short story. Any advice for getting past writer's block?

I enjoy writing Fan Fiction. I'm hoping to be an author some day but right now I am content with FF. I attempted NaNoWriMo last month but sadly, failed.

I HATE, on this Day...I hate...

I hate that my life is not my own to do as I please....

I hate that little or nothing changes to be of any great notice in life to me...

I hate that I am so hating of most everything....but that is me...

and I guess on this day I hate ME the greatest of all things....

Thanks for this group, Steve. I want to get into writing more seriously. I do some freelance stuff as it is but want to make it a full time gig. It's always been a hobby and passion of mine. Nice to be a part of this.

Hi all! I am joining since I love to write and will be taking an English 190 course "Advanced Strategies of Rhetoric and Research". The syllabus scares me a little bit! :)

Steve would just like to say thanx for this and the paranormal group. It's great to see active peeps on board! During the next month or 2 it's my busy time at work so I tend to come and go, but try to keep up. So I see your from S.F. I'm originally from Sunol,Fremont area, but now reside up in Northern Calif.
